Summer of Speed
This speed camp is designed as an 8-week training program that can also be completed as individual 4-week sessions, giving athletes flexibility while still maximizing results. There will be 3 training days throughout the week (Mon, Wed, Fri) with athletes able to choose to do either 2 or 3 days per week to fit their schedule the best. The program focuses on developing speed, agility, and explosive power through structured training and performance tracking.
During Session 1 (June 1-June 26), athletes will focus on learning and developing the fundamentals of sprinting, change of direction, and jumping mechanics while applying these skills in real time to improve performance.
During Session 2 (July 6 - July 31), athletes will continue to build on the fundamentals while being introduced to more advanced drills to continue to improve performance. Athletes do not need to complete Session 1 to participate in Session 2.
At the beginning and end of each Session, athletes will perform a broad jump, vertical jump, 40 yd Dash, 5-10-10, and L Drill in order to monitor progress throughout the camp.
At the end of the camp, each athlete will receive an individualized performance report outlining their results, progress, and key improvements made throughout the program. This report will also highlight specific areas to continue working on, providing clear guidance so athletes can build on their progress and keep improving beyond the camp.
